No response from firms / recruiters.What's wrong with my resume

I am working at a boutique and I have been trying to get interviews either at buy side or Bulge Bracket or firms like Lazard, Houlihan Lokey, Evercore etc. However I am not getting any response from recruiters, executive and in-house . I even contacted alumni ( very strong alumni presence in Wall St) however no success in getting interviews. The only alumni who revert back are one's looking for position. Even cold call is not getting much response. I am not able to determine what is the cause. What should I do to improve my chances. I do not like my current place, in terms of compensation and culture and want to move out.
Please let me know what should be my strategy for getting interest from firms. How should I present and /or add to my resume to generate interest.
It seems like you've got some space to add some more as far as professional qualifications and things go.
List some more things under the BB experience. You don't want to have jobs in the experience area with one bullet point.
Looks like you've been in IB for about a year or less than, that's probably why you're not getting too many responses. Plus your resume still doesn't look good, too much white space. Just curious, why are you looking to leave so soon ?
The culture and comp is not good. Not a great place to work. Taking advantage of recession and small size deal flow. Looking to get at firms where I can learn more by working with decent size deals.
I assume you've looked at Doostang, efinancialcareers, LinkedIn jobs etc ? Also, there's a directory of PE recruiters on WSO that you might want to tap into, just run a search.
Yes I did. And its just like sending down the drain esp to US & UK recruiters. The only interest I had was last year in PWM. Thanks for your advice I will run a search on WSO.
