Anyone have any information on them? I know their number one in Japan, but I'm curious of their reputation. Also anyone have any interview experience with them?

Solid mid-tier shop but not one of the top. Like most positions in EQR, however, it's all about your senior analyst- if you work for someone bright, thoughtful, and mentoring, you're arguably better off at Nomura than some complacent #1 ranked analyst who doesn't teach u a thing at a BB.
Complacent and #1 II should not be used in the same sentence.
I'm not really sure what you mean by that. Happens plenty of times that a senior analyst builds up a reputation of being great and then rides that (deserved) cache. I have a number of colleagues/ peers at other firms who feel that their senior analyst worked very hard early in their career, are ranked highly each year, and now have taken their foot off the gas. Not always a terrible thing, but definitely can cultivate complacency.
