I did it in early 2010. Had 4 interviews of 30 minutes each - and it was pretty much 100% fit. They were still getting their feet on the ground in the US at that point and everyone who interviewed me had come to the firm within the previous 9 months. One guy asked me an expected value brainteaser since I said I played poker seriously, but it wasn't too difficult. 3 of the 4 were very nice and personnable, and the 4th told me that my job as an analyst would be to get him coffee. He spent 20 of the 30 minutes on his blackberry. I think they brought in about 15 kids total that day. 4 from my school were there and 2 of the 4 got offers - I was not one of them. I interviewed on a Friday and they gave everyone from my school a yes or no late Monday.

Thanks for the insight I have mine tomorrow. The other guy seems like a bit of an ass?

Google or dealbook any deals Nomura IBD has been involved know. Know 1 - 2 deals and get an understanding.

Nomura hasn't been doing so well, so you're gonna have to think of a reason as to why you choose Nomura, if you say that they are top-street, they are not. So you should probably think about it. I don't have an answer for you.

Lastly, maybe you should pick 1 - 2 sectors and or groups that interest you and cite solid reasons or previous exposure.

Good luck.
