Nomura vs other BBs

Hey just curious to know your thoughts on Nomura, esp FIG, and TMT groups v/s waiting for other BBs. Ive an offer from Nomura for the 2022 investment banking analyst class, but confused whether being at a BB would be better, and if I should wait to apply to GS, Evercore. Let me know of any thoughts on deals at Nomura? analyst experiences? Heard about bad M&A deal flow and they barely close deals in the US...

I mean "the" BBs. Im already in valuations in an MM firm, I can lateral out to IB at this firm itself, apply to "the" BBs or just go to Nomura. Any idea?

I work at a different bank but my roommate used to work at Nomura in the C&R/Industrials/Healthcare group. FIG is very weak: poor deal flow (you can go years without closing a single deal) and high turnover (recent exits to Citi, PWP, Barclays). TMT is better than FIG, but still not as strong as other TMT groups in the MM space. Would advise you to keep recruiting.
