Non-Target Success Story. Don't listen to this site.

What's up retards,

A while back I made a post on this site claiming that almost everyone on this site was a pretentious goober. I got some laughs, but also got some hate. People roasting me saying that recruiting wasn't going well and I'm insecure. Well I am insecure, but that's because I want two extra inches on my dick, not because daddy didn't get me into Harvard.

However I come today with a story of success. A story of a kid who didn't know what career he wanted until July of his senior year, a story of a kid who had 0 IB internships and a story of a kid who just accepted an offer a top MM group in a low COL city because FUCK NYC RENT PRICES.

But seriously, don't listen to a fucking thing anyone on this website tells you. Sure some of the advice is sound but the overwhelming majority of what I got told on this website is that I had no shot with no experience and no previous desire to do IB coming out of a nontarget. Don't believe that bullshit for a second. All that is is kids from target schools with Daddy's money who want to gatekeep this profession because they don't believe any of us lowly non targets deserve to make the same salary as them. Fuck. That. Bullshit. All you need to do is grind your ass off. Email alumni from your school on The Street. Grind your technicals. Keep that GPA up. Throw a bunch of fucking darts at the board and guess what, some of them are gonna stick. Don't listen to the noise and the elitist pussies of wallstreetoasis and believe in yourself and your work ethic and it'll fucking work out. That is all.

P.S. once you get a job don't make a linkedin post or put "incoming analyst" that makes you as bad as one of them. Just put your nose to the ground and get ready to grind.
