Not getting outreach from HHs, what to do?

hey monkeys, I'm a senior at a target heading back to an EB I interned at, and I haven't been getting any outreach from HHs at all compared to what I've seen the outreach that my peers have gotten. Should I reach out to these headhunters myself? Thanks!

It doesn’t really matter - they’re just building their book and asking for resumes. You can still drop your resume on most HH’s sites and be roughly in the same spot.

If you want to be proactive, network with people at firms you might be interested in. In contrast to banking networking, I found that completely cold outreach (i.e no school/bank connection) isn’t quite as effective.

Don’t approach these as “pass my resume” type coffee chats, but more informational. This can help you formulate what you’re looking to recruit for and bringing these types of conversations up can be helpful once recruiting actually starts.
