Currently deciding between HK IBD and NY BB Capital Markets (DCM,ECM). In the longer term, I want to build a skillset that is applicable to buyside jobs in Asia. So I am mainly concerned about the technical skills I can learn in HK coverage vs NY Capital Markets. Also, I am not too sure whether HK has many M&A deals vs IPO/debt issuance.
