Twitter shut their NY & SF offices, maybe banks may continue with the WFH until this spike chills out. I think at this point most of us are hearing post Labor Day
No NYC mask mandate has been announced… he just said that he’s issuing guidance next week, and a week ago he said we aren’t going back to masks but that we should continue emphasizing vaccines.
I don’t have the world’s highest opinion of De Blasio, but I don’t think he’s on board with the return to masks

If we go back to masks that’ll be so stupid. We got vaccinated to stop wearing these. The gov’t is going to have a whole lot of pissed off vaccinated people when it says put your mask back on. I’m with OP: GL getting me to put it back on if everyone I’m with is vaccinated!
my guess is he tries to bully firms into individual mandates but doesn’t enact a city wide one. they don’t owe this guy anything tho - they tried to pressure him to get it together and clean up the homeless encampment that once was midtown and he dropped the ball. firms will just require vaccines to cover their ass and call it a day and force everyone back
