Off season recruiting in Asia

Hi everyone I'm in sort of an awkward situation.

So, I will be serving in the military possibly at the start of March and I will come back out in August/September of 2020. Until Jan of 2021 when school starts I don't have much to do. I was hoping that because I am going to miss out on my sophomore year summer internship I could get an offcycle internships in Asia.

I'm trying to develop some contacts as best as I can through my existing network, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get an offcycle internship - I'm really okay with anything from small buyside shops, boutique IBs, MMs. I heard MBB has some low entry level internship programs for underclassmen.

I have some PE experience and some modeling experience, 4.0 at target. Help VERY APPRECIATED!! thanks guys.
