So I recently resigned from my current job as I found a much better new one. They didn't want to let me go earlier than the 1 month notice period, however I'm not particularly motivated to push myself any more. We sit in a small open plan office so it's not like I can just do whatever on my computer. What would you do in this situation?

Go out with a bang, you never know if you might need/want to go back and/or want a solid reference. I've seen a number of people leave, and come back for a senior role because they kept the doors open.
