How does the investment banking advisory business rank amongst the other BBs and EBs? Is it really that bad?

I've heard much stronger in Europe than the US, but admittedly don't know much.
FWIW this is anecdotal from what I've heard from friends. Lost a lot of top guys. Rebuilding aggressively in certain teams. Wouldn't be a bad place to join as a junior if you're of the view that it will bounce back. Retains a strong European brand and exit opps won't be significantly worse vs. other European BBs.
