Looking into the firm right now. I hear often "avoid at all costs" curious if that extends to the RX team.
Any insight into the recruitment process is also valuable--as none of my cold emails have gone through.
Don’t have much insight into them, but have not seen them on any out of court or in-court processes.
Are they building a team out?
they dont sit in ny and only exist in dallas so maybe thats why you haven't seen them. it looks like only really 1 deal a year too which is pretty good for a 10 person team. most of their seniors came from distressed/credit trading teams, rx consulting, or were poached from the blackhill team that stephens bought
they did do a 2024 $2bn debtor side on specialty lender curo which probably is enough to keep the group alive
Oh super interesting, do you think that means they might not have @opco.com emails? I noticed most of my cold emails bounced. If they were recently poached from a dissolved team they might have legacy email addresses.
Then again, they might just be busy and not responsive.
