Origin of the bonus structure in IB?
How did the bonus structure in IB originate? The IB bonus structure is obviously unique in that IB bonuses far exceed the bonuses seen in other industries, even at the junior levels. Why is this case? Also, analysts are not yet rainmakers. So why are analysts given significant bonuses too?
