Outside Business Activity while in EB IB

Hi all,
I’m recruiting for an EB IB internship (next summer) and I’m considering setting up a small Polish company (Sp. z o.o.) with a friend.

The business would do influencer/affiliate marketing support for licensed iGaming operators in Canada. I would likely hold ~50% equity, but my friend would run day-to-day operations. I would not be involved during work hours.

I’m trying to understand how this is viewed from a compliance / reputational risk standpoint in London IB.

Would appreciate any real examples of how strict firms are on this.
