Pre-MBA PE associate recruiting launched last week and is moving at the speed of light.
It seems like a few people received tons of interviews whereas others received none. I am in the latter bucket, and I was wondering if any of you are there as well / have any thoughts on how many pre-MBA spots are even left at the top shops.

true - i work for a non-top tier group at GS. many of my co-analysts and i (who are in the same position) have been caught off guard by this, obviously thinking the GS name will push us to interviews.
i mean are we talking GS Public Infrastructure "bad" or GS Industrials "bad"? If in the former, I wouldn't be too surprised, but honestly can't think of a group that would get completely shut-out aside from that.
