People who have had success with off-cycle recruiting, What was your timeline? (Also is my plan reasonable?)
I currently am doing an internship at a boutique and was wondering what I should be doing more for FT recruiting. I've been reaching out to alumni at bigger shops but the consensus is that FT recruiting is done. I was recommended at trying to get a spring internship at a bigger shop ie BB, IBAB, EB (part time) and try to leverage that to a full time offer. Obviously I would have to try and create this spring internship and I'm not sure if this is a solid plan or if I should just go for FT recruiting outright. Any input is appreciated.
