People who quit high Finance - did you regret it?

My question is self-explanatory. If you made the decision to walk away from Finance (IB / PE / HF / S&T etc.) for something completely different, in hindsight are you happy with the decision?

I would also be curious to know:

  • Why did you walk away?
  • Where did you land?
  • Do you regret joining Finance in the first place?
