is this SA or FT?
Nuances in both, but if its a good GS group SA offer I would probably take that since RO is yours to lose compared to more SA culling in MFs. Think it increases optionality if you want to do things like VC or growth investing in the future as well.

FT I could see taking bain or ares credit over IB, especially if you dont want to live in nyc. People have gone from bain/ares credit analyst stints to PE as well as good SM HFs. Not familiar w/ permira

I turned down credit offers for PJT/EVR SA but if it was FT i think it would've been harder decision
