Yes, got an SA offer from them in Ldn recently but ended up taking something else.

Culture seemed really positive from my experience, juniors very intelligent and actively sought this out of candidates in the recruiting process. I think immediately comparable bank would be GP Bullhound, but Pharus is even more LMM - in London they’re very much engaged with deals sub £100m (realistically sub £50m most of the time) and predominantly founder-led companies. Seniors also very passionate about tech and advisory, seemed like they loved their job.

To me it seemed interesting but deal size seemed like a barrier for getting enough technical exposure, which for me is a consideration this early in my career.

Intern perspective - nothing but positive things to say about the firm. Everyone from analyst/MD level was great. Guys who own the firm are super involved and genuinely care about teaching you and helping you learn, and the juniors have a really great culture. Not sure what other banks are like, but you get exposed to all aspects of the deal (pitching/BD, execution, negotiations, management meetings etc.) which was honestly really cool.
