Philosophy > Finance Major???
Has anyone else been seeing all this hype over doing a philosophy major recently? I've seen it all over LinkedIn and Youtube. All these people coming out and saying that philosophy is the last AI-proof major and that it's better than studying finance now. This has to be a joke, right? Like sure you can always be a phil major and join investment clubs and recruit, but come on. I feel like, outside of top targets, studying philosophy is not a good way to get into finance.
The only people I've seen with philosophy jobs are philosophy professors. Its practically a pyramid scheme.
