Phone screen
Just had a phone screen via teams. The VP put on their camera and I was not dressed as in the email they said phone screen. I dialed in and asked if it would be ok to keep my camera off, the person didn’t seem to have a problem with it and turned off their video, but is this generally a ding? I did my research on everything and had a good conversation despite that.
I would’ve just turned my camera on and stated that you were told it was a phone screen so you’re not dressed in proper attire. Honestly doubt they would ding you anyways, especially if they seemed chill w it
