PIMCO vs Goldman Sachs IB

I'm a first year student at a semi target.

I know someone at PIMCO who might be able to land me an offer there as an intern (though I'm not sure which sector), then potentially a full time position. However, I also want to recruit for Investment Banking for my third year summer. If I had both offers: a position at PIMCO and lets say Goldman Sachs Investment Banking, which one should I choose?

Should I still try to recruit for my third year summer in investment banking?
