depends on what you want if you want to stay in banking long-term, an EB might be better however if you want to do an exit after a few year BB might be better however also i think you should consider where you would fit in better culturally

 

This was my logic when I made my decision but what matters more is the people’s perception. It is likely that PJT M&A interns were more prepped than most MS coverage and GS classic groups interns but PE firms view them equally and corporates obviously prefer GS/MS. 

 

PJT is the move; you don't want to grind for group placement at JPM. I would personally go with GS because I want to move to corporate one day and think the brand would carry more weight, but that's just me.
