PJT M&A all day (at least for me). You get to do both the industry coverage and deal execution. PJT also pays better. With that said though, it really comes down to what you really want, and you can’t go wrong with any of these two places

I don't think there's an incorrect decision here, but fwiw a JPM M&A analyst I know of has been pulling some interesting hours (4/5am nights on a regular basis) and while PJT M&A is a grind, a guy I know there anecdotally says the team is pretty laid-back and fratty
