All of them are really strong names. Outside baking, JPM and MS have a much stronger brand than PJT, within finance I’d say they are on par in London. Heard excellent things about all of them. For personal interest I would choose MS or PJT
Thanks for the input. Appreciate it!
I'm assuming all for m&a advisory, right? Do you know already know the teams you were placed in? Given that is a SA position, I'd go for MS. Super strong name both in IB and outside the finance scene; doesn't risk your chances of getting called for analyst interviews for top boutiques after that summer (in case of a change of heart and wanna opt back to a PJT or something similar like EVR, Moelis, etc); nor your chances of exiting to PE in case you stick with them a couple years.
However for me the team matters a lot... and I don't mean a sector team where the bank is strong.. I mean a team from a sector I like (eg: I would choose TMT team at a mid table BB over natural resources team or PUI at GS/MS... just because those industries are not my thing)
Yes, all for Advisory (though I'd be doing some RX @ PJT as well).
What you've said is what my intuition is telling me as well, although I was easily most impressed with PJT during the interviews. Hm.
Thanks a lot for the input. Much appreciated!
pretty much in a same situation but throw BAML in there.
I would choose MS personally, but can't really go wrong - all great places.
Appreciate it. Thanks.
