Planning on Quitting - When should i tell staffer?
1st year analyst here and I am planning on quitting as soon as I get another job lined up (have a couple things in the works). Dont really wanna get into why I am leaving but would appreciate some opinions as to when I should tell my team. I don't want to tell them right now before I have another official offer but also don't wanna keep getting grinded every single day/night until the new job materializes. Anyone have advice as to how I should approach this?
Tell your staffer (now) that you are having troubles meeting deadlines (should take it easy) and on the staffing sheet, add 15 hours
Also make sure to check your firms bonus cycle, if it’s stub, you might want to stick around until then since December is Usually slow
Don’t give any hint that you are trying to leave until you sign your offer for next place. However, if you are certain that you aren’t going to stay, you can put in less effort to the job and say no to staffings in the interim.
Just put your two weeks in when you officially finalize your next job. You may have to leave immediately or may need to stay longer.
They can make me stay longer after putting in 2 weeks?
May ask you to stay longer is what I interpreted this as.
Impedit animi nam ea. Adipisci illo non delectus perspiciatis sequi corrupti nam. Esse vitae iste qui. Quia in repellat qui.
