Possibility to start as Associate or 2nd yr Analyst w/o FT Exp

Hi guys,

I need your help on this.

Currently I am doing a 6M IBD internship at one BB in London. Previously I did one 6M internship at M&A division of one Fortune 500 companies, one 3M internship at RBS IBD, one 3M internship at BNPP AM, and another 3M internship at big 4. In addition I was working on the PT basis as the project manager for a student-based consultancy (yet we generated 600k turnover in one yr) during graduate studies.

Right now I am facing a dilemma. During my current internship, I have been working so hard and it seems that our team is likely to give me an offer, but only as 1st yr analyst.

My question is 1. If I do a MBA (potentially double diplome program with our school) in a tier 2 UK uni, is it possible to start as associate next year in any of the banks (no need to be BB, but top 20)? Or 2. If I do a Master (double diplome program too) is it possible to start as a 2nd year analyst? I will be 25 next year when starting the job.

To clarify I am mainly talking about the prospect in London but if you guys have any thought for the prospect in U.S it would also be great.

Thanks for reading my long thread and any suggestions will be extremely appreciated!

FL
