Possible for 3.4 with two IB internships to make it to top BB/EB?
Sophomore with a 3.4 cumulative GPA but 3.7 Major GPA in finance and two internships in IB (boutique and MM). Do I have a shot at top BB's/EB's?

depends on school, but wouldn't count on it unless something drastic caused you to have those grades

I wouldn't keep my hope too high for EB. But BB, with a fair amount of networking, esp with mid to lower tiers, def doable. And we all know 3.7 Finance GPA ain't mean shit.
Had 3.4 GPA while recruiting from non-target. Ended up at mid-BB. If you network hard and become an interview god, I think you’ll have a decent shot at top BB.
You will get some questions about your GPA though, so prepare to back it up with a good reason.
Definitely prepared for the GPA questions, any advice in terms of networking? did you ask for resume pushes explicitly or just keep asking for referrals to other team members?
