PowerPoint as an art form...No more boring books!

I had a dream last night where I was putting together the best book ever.

When I woke up this morning I decided that I'm taking PowerPoint to the next level. From now on all my deal books are going to be as entertaining as grocery store tabloids. No more than 2 sentences without some sort of nifty graphic or table. If I could get holograms and multi-media in them I totally would.

When I told my VP he just looked at me like I was delirious. Who here is on board?

Seriously though, how annoying is it to sit through lame ass powerpoints that are just slide after slide of bullet pointed text? I HATE that...

Scat BatemanHow has this douche bag made 944 posts without an interview...Anyone else want to chip in for therapy after bonus season?
no need for therapy, I'm not delusional like a lot of my peers("New York Community College is the Bestest school, and my 3.5 in Communications will get me into IB.")

I know my IB chances are slim to none.

P.S. I find it funny that you correlate interviews with post count.

Well you can't blame him entirely. I for one kept my pie hole shut about interviews until I got some, and didn't talk about final roudns until i got some and didn't talk about offers until I got one.

I just wasn't comfortable and if you ask me, I still am not comfortable talking about detailed stuff since I haven't started work yet.

As for the powerpoints...well I guess sprucing them up would be fine. But there is such thing as overkill. Personally I always much rathered a simple show with bullets and a nice professional template/background.

I agree Monkey, until you have that offer no need letting other people know...they might jinx you
