(nothing, IE Thoma Bravo) > Capital > Group > Partners > Associates > Equities > Ventures > Management > Advisors > Holdings

Clear tier order here, someone didn't read the updated preface to Pearl & Rosenbaum

Upon further consideration, I'd bump Ventures to #4, my original listing had a stronger emphasis on buyout nominative prestige.

What about the ones that use the European variants for some of those same words, like "Advisers" instead of "Advisors"?

Ltd. is pretty fire imo, makes it sound foreign af.

Hot take, I think it would be kind of sick to use "Fraternity" instead of Partners. Think about it. Would you rather be a portfolio company of CVC Capital Partners, or a member of the coveted CVC Fraternal Order. I might F around and change my username to Order of the Chungus. Got DAMN that slaps.

"Collective" could be kind of cool to. As in Clearlake Capital Collective.

Bottom tier is anyone who includes LLC at the end of their name in marketing materials. Yuck.
