Pretest for Incoming IB Analysts
Hey, I accepted an IB analyst offer a while back. The bank reached out and told me I have to take an accounting pre-test to determine when I go to training. Anybody know what I should expect on it? I'm not an accounting major and have only taken one accounting class (over 2 years ago) and would love to do well on it.
Thanks.
Basic accounting stuff, such as how the three statements relate to one another (if this or that line item were to change, how would it affect other statements, etc.), what certain line items are comprised of, etc. If you don't do super well, you get a few more days of training and you get a head start on networking with a bunch of people (there will be several who will not do well on this). It's no big deal at all, don't stress about this.
Thanks so much. I definitely wanted to prepare for it, but wasn't sure what to look at.
