Pretty sure my associate hates me

So I’ve been an analyst for four months now and I’m pretty sure one of the associates hates working with me. I’ve made some mistakes before and often when I work with him and I his demeanor gets worse and worse when I work with him. Just seems like he’s burdened working with me. I feel bad. Is this normal? I hate making mistakes. It’s gotten to the point where I dread sending things to him for review. Kinda scared for my job too

I would say that’s pretty common.

My analyst is cool, but just gets annoying from time to time.

Just learn from the mistake and don’t make the same mistake twice. It’ll all be good, you won’t lose your job after 4 months given an Associate. They are low in priority too.

I think that just be might be his style unfortunately or maybe he doesn’t like you for no reason. I have worked with associates where I have done everything right but whenever I ask a question it seems like I am burdening them and I feel they want to say omg how do you not know this. Their job is to literally answer questions and teach you. Unless you are constantly ignoring their instructions you are fine

I need help with research. Like I keep getting assignments that require me pulling up previous data and a lot of time I can find things in 10 Q forms and investor decks. Any advice on how I can get better at this?
