Prorated Bonus if Starting Early?
Quick question that I haven’t found a clear answer for - if I graduate early and manage to start working early at a bank (like February), do you get a prorated bonus based on the months you been working? Or do you get an additional bonus after your first full year? Or do you get nothing else than your salary during those months you started early?
You owe them a bonus for allowing you to start early. At least that’s how it is at my bank.
Wait what - can you elaborate?
…consider an additional semester
You’ll get a pro rated bonus. So if you start in February, come bonus time during the summer, you will get a little something. Won’t be much, but better than nothing
Gotcha - is it strictly pro rated / do you have a rough ballpark of what the range is like?
It will be pro rated. Hard to give ballpark

No additional bonus whatsoever for starting early in my case - just the base pay
I think all you get is a hug from the group head for starting early.
youll get a pro-rated bonus. depending on the bank you might actually be placed into a ranked bucket with the rest of the class and youll get the pro-rated "Top bucket" value. thats what my bank does.
