Public Finance Salary Increases
Is Citi the only bank yet to raise salaries? They say they're planning to, but haven't yet. Does anyone know what the raises are for other banks?

Citi has said there will likely be raises but it's been a while and they don't know for who....

Public finance bases were already behind corporate IB bases and then corporate IB got another bump and pubfin potentially nothing... Leaving further behind. Definitely a little concerning...

WF paying 100k to PF
Have a friend at RBC who says it’s still at 85 first year. PF is a subgroup of GIB, and when “all” of GIB was bumped PF was left out. Also heard JPM did not get a raise. Wonder if GS, MS, BoA have gotten a bump.
Is your friend at RBC in the NY office? I think base is lower than 85 for regional offices in PF.

Anyone have any fresh data with comp #s coming out?
I'm in PF and confirmed that there's been 0 news on any bumps. Even asked MD at bonus review and he said he hasn't heard anything about that. Really annoying. Looks like markets, DCM/ECM, CB, and S&T have all gotten raises with IB doubling up recently and still nothing on PF.
What kind of bank do you work in? what was your bonus like after this record year?

Like many analysts are finding out, a record year isn't translating to shit for junior bonuses. Almost certain my bonus scaled exactly as it would if we had a shit year instead of a record year in my team. Equally certain that Directors and MDs who have their comp more variable on performance did better for themselves. The money has to go somewhere.

Was the bump very recent or back last summer?
We were told summer or fall 2021 and it went into effect in Jan
Sorry for the late response. My BB raised it in the fall, for the first 6 months you’re at 110k, then during your first full calendar year you’re at 115k, and finally during your second full calendar year you’re at 125k
