Public Finance vs. Consulting

I'm looking to see if anyone can compare the two. I've read a good amount on here about both. How would hours/comp compare after undergrad and beyond? In terms of points of reference, Accenture/Deloitte for consulting and a top MM for public finance.

I just went on a flight from London to Charlotte Douglass and it destroyed me. I'm guessing most of the travel would be in the US, though?

Do you have any insight on which would have more hours/pay? I'm just trying to figure out if consulting is worth looking into because someone at Deloitte/Accenture wants to talk to me about it as I'm going into senior year.
