PwC DDV

Does anyone have any insight on what PwC Delivering Deal Value (DDV) do? From what I can see they primarily work on ODD but don't have much more than that. Anyone got any idea on the type or work they do, clients they work with, any career progression/exit opportunities from there. (London in particular)

Roommate used to work in deals at PwC. From my understanding the value creation team fits under the consulting umbrella, very separate from M&A or transaction services. Seems like a lot of post deal work like strategy, integration, IT, etc... Clients are supposedly bigger compared to the M&A team. Seems like the team is mostly used for "cover your ass" or "check the box" situations for large firms if things go south. May just be one office though, curious to see if anyone has heard different.
