PWP Restructuring

I know there have been a couple of recent threads on PWP, but does anyone have any updated thoughts on PWP's restructuring group? It's historically been one of the firm's stronger practices, so I'm curious whether sentiment or the outlook has changed recently.

LAZ is better? I thought they lost some talent over the last couple of years. Or was it more on the M&A side? Just curious.

LAZ lost some talent but at the end of the day they still have the institutional edge which will always give them a spot as a top RX advisor. Anyway, in the past ~2 years they have been doing very well, so looks like they overcame those senior exits

I would not want to join PWP right now... Honestly not the best place to be at (source: I'm at a different coverage group)

Head of RX at PWP got poached by EVR. I think that should tell you about the state of the group (+ aggressive layoffs amid ongoing underperformance of the firm)
