Qatalyst vs. FT Partners 2022

Which is the better firm in 2022? Qatalyst has always been gassed on this forum for having the highest pay but it seems like FTP has surpassed them in terms of the pay aspect. I’m also assuming both are equally as sweaty given that pay usually correlates with sweatiness. Is Qatalyst still miles ahead of FTP in terms of prestige or has FTP caught up in 2022 after achieving EB status?

Here’s a breakdown of Qatalyst (random industry boutique) vs FTP (prestigious ELITE boutique).

Pay: FTP ($140k base vs Qatalyst, which only pays a mere $250k+ TC to An1 and has profit sharing for Associates and up)

Prestige: FTP (Leads FinTech coverage, vs Qatalyst, which only occasionally wins the largest multi-billion M&A mandates against GS and MS)

Exits: FTP (e.g. Silver Lake, BX Corp PE, Tiger Global, Apollo, Arrowroot Capital)

Experience: FTP (Leads all the top Capital raises, a top tier experience)

Culture: FTP (Smartest kids sourced from nationally ranked top banking Clubs like IU Kelly, UW Madison, and University of Illinois IB Workshop)

Other: FTP (Epic Steve McLaughlin commemorative COVID coin and one WSJ article about the firm convincing strategics to overpay for FiNtEcH)

This is a no-brainer. FTP is the best EB, up there with the other top EBs, perhaps only trailing the most prestigious EB, Guggenheim.

Lol enjoy being at FTP, if that was my only option I'd rather not even go into banking at all.
