Intern season wrapped up (ignore title)
Would love to know across street how the intern quality was
BB here: mixed bag, a few standouts but a lot of bad ones
Lot of questionable european summer analysts
I see, I heard for some BB, the quality is quite low. I think GS interns were great both Market and IB.
M&A or Cap Markets?
M&A was good not sure about Capital Solns
Top BB. Quality was meh, quite disappointed by some given their background (6-12 month of IB experience at good shops)
Women can have many internships & will get treated with gloves everywhere... ofc they wont perform like they should...
Is it JPM?
UBS was ruthless as well as JP
From what I heard, UBS was in-line with expectations

At a non-IB focussed bank but sit within IBD. Quality was a mixed bag. Ours was extremely good, with others less so.
However, nothing atypical about the cohort this year. Same overall quality as previous years.
