Question about an information session.

I will be going to my first information session tomorrow. I am wondering if I have to stay for the whole session. It is 1 hour and 30 minutes. What should I expect to happen here? People present about the company, we meet them, etc...?

You should go and like Wufei said, the greatest value you'll get is from the networking at the end. That said, if you have some commitment that prevents you from going to the whole session, you should still go. If you can only be there for the canned presentation part of it, you'll still get a sense of how the company is positioning itself vs its peers and perhaps a sense of the personalities of some of the people. If you can be there at the end, you'll get the opportunity to meet some of the folks, but they may notice that you came in late if you can't sneak in. If you go at the end, MAKE SURE to meet and talk to some of the company reps.
