I am an auditor with a Big 4 firm in Toronto and currently weighing two options for pre-MBA internships. Headed to T10 school in the fall and interested in pursuing IB post-MBA.
- summer intern with corporate finance team at current firm: mostly family-owned businesses, revenue range 20-250M
- intern with a small tech-focused PE firm (targets have $5-50M revenues), ~one year in operation, founded by H/S/W grad, small shop 10 people.
Which opportunity would you pick? Would either one be more helpful for recruiting in the fall?
