Question - Benefit of offshore experience at VP level
I'm a VP at a top tier i-bank (worked at bank for last 7 years)
Working in Australia currently
In people's opinion, how beneficial is it at this level to gain some experience overseas (say New York) ?
Is it better I focus on Australian market or gain some offshore experience?
I would think that the relationships you developed in Australia would deteriorate if you're gone for a year or two....
