I have done resume first passes and usually do the following: if you have a recognisable IB internship already, your resume goes to top pile regardless of GPA. High GPA, target school, somewhat interest in finance usually goes through as well. To answer your question, if I see only major GPA I do assume that you have a terrible cumulative. If you list both, granted that your cumulative is a 3.4, it would really depend on your experience and how the rest of the resume pile looks. All can change through networking though, I would say that is your best bet. Best of luck

He broke my prep into 50% technicals, 40% behaviorals and 10% networking, and explained why I should be interview-ready before doing heavy coffee chats instead of networking first. Agree that it's crazy but most firms have been recruiting on campus since February for 2018 SA :'(
