Quick Presentation of another intern who wants to break into IB

Hello team !

I have just joined WSO and I am really happy to see that there is such content on the internet. Quick presentation of myself and why i am here : -born in Madagascar (Africa) -studied and lived in France since now -currently intern in a French investment bank in leverage finance (portfolio analysis) -academic background : A-level equivalent with honours & 2 years of "Classes Préparatoires", then graduated in October 2019 from a Top10 French Business School. -currently 23 y.o. -not really good in corporate finance but want to improve my skills, great understanding and knowledge in financial markets (did my Major in Market Finance & Asset Risk during my last year in my B.S.) -strong analytical skills -good command in Excel, want to improve even if i think i am ok with this software

Why i am here :

I want to learn insights about how IB works, and how to break into it (I am looking for a permanent contract/ full time job). I am currently in France but I would like to move into an English speaking country because I would like to first improve my English, second to experiment the "English/Anglo-Saxon mindest". I mean, I really appreciate how people there think and I would like to test my ability to adapt, improve and overcome a new environment :D

that's all for me.

Have a good day !
