Quota for each wave of Superday

do banks set quota for each wave of the Superday? for example, only x% of 40 kids and then move on, or is it like first come first serve where they can take as many as they like in the first superday and then reduce the number in the next superdays as spots are filled?

I get why you're asking this, but believe me when I say you do not want to have this mentality when you step into that waiting room and see the other interviewees. If you go in there thinking 20% of these kids are going to make it, and I am competing with these guys to get there a couple things may happen:

1) there will be a recruiter or 1st year in the room and see that you are abrasive to other applicants

2) you will be in a bad headspace to make genuine conversation with the people you interview with

I'd highly recommend going into those waiting rooms with ignorant bliss and make conversation with those people like it's the first day of freshman year, it will get you loose and make for a much better interview afterwards as you are already in a positive mind space

This is 100% true. Absolutely butchered my first super day because I met this kid that was literally like a cookie cutter finance god from Harvard and I was so rattled I could barely think in my first two interviews because I felt like I was competing with him.

At my next few interviews, I went in with the mindset that I would do my best and, if they liked me, I would get the job. Met plenty of other impressive people and there were cases where multiple people got offers, and I met plenty of people that seemed super impressive that didn't end up getting offers. Don't let the other people rattle you. Also if you're a weird socially awkward goober in the waiting room chances are someone will notice and judge you, so just chat with the other people there.
