Raine Group (TMT)

What is the deal with raine? is it more prestige than lion tree, quatalyst, evercore tmt, goldman tmt? Would like to know thoughts I have offers from 2 of these groups (one is raine)

If you already have an offer there and having doubts what advantage it has over other TMT groups, best to go with your gut. As an outsider, I think Raine is great for anyone interested about jumping into the media & entertainment space post banking (IMO, a lot of ex-Raine bankers leave for impressive / 'unicorn' corporate roles) but probably no so much for the buyside.

Ignore title, working full time as an a3. If you’re asking about prestige, I’m guessing you’re not a VP. Can’t really compare the four since they have different focuses between tech and media/telecom. If we’re talking about advisory recognition, Evercore and Q are the easy clear cut choice. However, LT/Rn are both great spots as well and have the merchant banking models if that’s something you like. If between LT/Rn I’d go with whichever team you liked more tbh.
