Raymond James Canada Reputation

How does Raymond James Canadian IB team compare to other MMs in Canada in terms of reputation?

What are the top performing groups in Toronto?

Would be great if anybody could provide some insight on culture, total analyst and associate comp, and/or hours?

Any input is greatly appreciated - thank you!

Very respectable in MM

I'm not sure how much has changed since, but as of a couple years ago the Toronto office was structured as a generalist pool, with real estate and tech as separate groups. Looks like the tech side has beefed up since, and real estate has seen some senior headcount movement, so it's possible those groups have since integrated into the generalist pool - but I personally can't confirm.

It's really the only MM shop in Toronto that mainly does M&A as opposed to a shit ton of equity offerings.
