RBC in Australia

Hi everyone,

Noticed that RBC are 3rd in the Aussie league tables so far this year. They seem to be going under the radar - are there prospects for their future growth in the Australian market, or is this just a one-off year?

Any insights on what's been happening at the bank in recent times would be great - I noticed some job openings recently in their PU&I team, which I understand to be one of their best teams here

Aussie league tables can be pretty volatile year by year so its hard to judge a bank by its position at one point in time. That being said, RBC is quite strong in Australia for infra, and I have seen people exit RBC to some great PE shops. Also they seem to hire a lot of analysts from Big 4 rather than traditional intern/grad programs. As for long term prospects, I reckon they will be pretty consistently in the top 7-10.
