RBC vs TD
I know that RBC and TD are neck and neck in Canada, but RBC is better than TD in the US. My question is how did RBC step over TD in terms of size and deal flow within the US, stupid question but I am just curious. Will TD ever catch up to RBC within the US?
Also, I know that MD's and Directors at RBC have left recently, what is the reason for this? Some of left to BB's and I know a couple actually came over to TD, which I found super interested. I was also confused to why this was?

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
RBC did a great job using its balance sheet in 2008 when other banks weren’t doing deals. This built out a strong FSG practice that slowly led to the firm having a stronger US presence. US team is highly built out, and I would say they did a better job than TD with this strategy in general.
