Can someone please speak to the employee initiatives at RBCCM? Does the firm have a protected Saturday or pencils down policy? Also, does the firm give food allowances for dinner/Ubers after a certain time? Do any of these policies apply to interns? Any more info would be appreciated.

Most groups have protected Saturday or Sunday. Interns should expect to work some Saturday’s but only if you’re in a deal. Seamless and Uber are common across the street, so interns will get that.

In Toronto/ - C$25 meal allowance if you stay past 8pm - Taxi / Uber if you stay past 9. - Have to stay 6+ hours in a row on the week end to expense a meal

Does anyone know approximate hours for analyst/associate for NYC office? Also does anyone know if RBC IBD gives any vacation time (and lets you actually take it)? I've tried searching for info but can't find much even in previous WSO threads. I know this stuff varies by group but any thoughts (even if you know a specific group) would really help out. Please PM me with info if you want to remain anonymous.
RBC is the only bank that lets analysts use vacation.
